Kept you waiting, huh?

It's been a long year, so where to begin?

My life seemed to move out of nowhere it seemed. I was having trouble juggling both my work and school sections of life. As soon as summer arrived I promised myself I wouldn't work in the food industry for more than a year so I left it as soon as summer arrived. I decided to focus a bit more on school. So summer arrived and so did the summer minimester, I focused on studying and then the unexpected happened. I got a girlfriend. So naturally this meant getting a job. A few days into the beggining of this year, she decied to end our relationship but we ended on good terms. Now I decided to look at where I left off when all of this finished, here. If there's one thing I've learned in all of 2015, is that at least now I have a more in depth view of things.

I think now, I'll go right ahead and try to animate something, I can't promise anything since my laptop whre I had all my flash stuff is currenly unusable since the battery is dead and I can't buy a new one yet. I've been interested in making a game however, even if its a small and simple game like tetris or pong.

I'll try to update this page every month.

Production is now a bit faster, in the last week I was fiddling around with GIMP and made a few backgrouds. I think I might redraw some backgrounds to indlude in this animation. I hope I can finish soon, I have 20 character models ready as of now. The backgrounds are gonna be a bit of a stiff for me but its ok, I'm getting them done. I hope things will work out. Happy Holidays guys. Hopefully I'll finish this by the beggining of 2015.

Slowed down, but not out yet, what's the status?

10 character models our of 45, 5 ready to animate, 5 in development

6 backgrounds, 2 just started, 4 that are ready, 4 that I enjoy

the storyboard MIGHT need to be cleaned up a bit.

With finals the next week, 2 things might occur. I might be able to work on this furiously once the week is over or they might want me for more hours at work. Whatever the happenings are, I'll be able to get a bit more process for sure with school outnof the way for a while. I think I might have to cancel out the shorts since I overthink things and blow them over the original span of a minute. Why upload filler if it isn't gonna be enjoyable, right?

I seriously dislike my life currently. I have to go to school, when I finish back, I have to do time consuming homework, and when I'm done, I can't work on this animation because I'm easily distracted. Given that weekends there are no distractions, I have nothing else. to do except go to work 7 hours those 2 days. Ugh. So what's the update on that new project? Picture this:

- I need to draw 45 models unique form the others to really make it stand out. I have drawn 5 so far, but only 2 are finished and ready to be animated.

- Each model I draw has to have a small movement animation even if it is merely a loop. Stills won't cut it for me.

- The video is rhythmic, so it is a MUST that it has good pacing and flow. (I seriously don't know how Oney does it with his Leo and Satan cartoons, the tweening looks gorgously proficient within the series)
- The animation has about 22 backgrounds, 6 of which I've drawn, 4 that are finished, but only 2 that I actually like how they turned out...

- Lastly, that song is great but, by God, when I hear it, it makes me think of how much I could have finished had I gotten a better attention span.

I've written down a few ideas for shorts (short for me to draw and run under a minute) and figured I might as well upload shorts for a while instead of having long periods of silence. I guess my problem with making these animations is that I aim for things that are way above a minute. So, I guess I'll aim for minute or less shorts...

I don't wish to fade away into obscurity any time soon. So I have decided to upload what I have done so far in TES:AW so far. It still isn't done. I've been working on another animation religiously and its the one I wish to focus on with most seriousness. I don't want to be that guy who promises an animation forvever, the expectations are high, and the delivery will never be as good as the anticipation of the hype. If there is any hype that is... Well, enjoy and I'll see if I can find time to upload short bits every now and then...

Well. This is something that is either good or terrible depending on how you wish to approach it.

I have decided to shelf TES:AW animation for a while since recently I wrote a storyboard (which is not a comic) and decided to work on it instead. It will be a simplistic animation. All that I will say about it, is that I hope I can portray the animation as best as I can since the song this is going to is heavenly.

If I can find closure for sure, I should find it in me to finish this animation.

DOOR STUCK! DOOR STUCK! Have you guys seen that video? Anyways. I thought I'd let in on a couple of details. I have been working on correcting little things so much I forgot about lengthening the animation. So today I have officially left behind stupid habits that were slowing me down with this project. I think I'll finish this animation by the end of this month. I just need patience and clarity of mind since juggaling work and school is as tough as a 2 dollar steak. I also have 4 more ideas for animations but I'm still thinking how to make them be parodies with good flow and setups as jokes and not just opinionated ultra meta ramblings...

Hello, once again it has been a while. The job I have is not a forgiving one, meaning I haven't been able to get the right amount of work into the animation that it deserves. What I've done so far is adding to the backgrounds that were already in place, making a few more animations and tried to work with frame by frame to give the animation a more classical movement so it doesn't feel like a stiff image just sliding all over the place, and boy is it time consuming. If anyone is still interested in the progress percentage, I'd say 72% done satisfacorily. I have to raise the bar in order to make this animation a hit.

It has only been a short while. I have no followers yet, but I want to feel the process of progress documented. I have begun animating the hard bits. Now all I need is patience and a lot of spare time, that is why I'm here to tell you guys that since I was successful in my job hunt, I might have a lot of delays, but its ok since I know that during work I'll anticipate wanting to come home to soley work on this, which is gonna help me continue this. The animation is about 70% done satifactorily. There are so many rough edges I need to straighten out or add to, on the other side, the places I barely animated, I want to add so many little details but there is so little time.

Anyways, if you guys are even a sixteenth of a fraction as eager as I am, let me know if you want another test preview. All that I will say is that the test preview will only be as far as the first one is, for comparison's sake. I don't want to spoil the rest of the animation so far.

Hello, its been a while. I've been looking for a job and had some other things to do in between, so I get a smal amount of time to myself and flash. I've taken your feedback and used it to my advantage and man, I've learned so much along the way making the TES animation, I made a few tweaks here and there, more specifically; I finally fixed the audio quality/lag issue, made drawings more detailed, got rid of eye sores and other small things, and most importantly, made about a minute of progress (trust me a minute is plenty of work you guys should know). I also have 2 animations in planning and a bit started. One will be a personal story and its a bit long. The other is a bit more complex, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with it. If there is anyone out there who is actually reading this, thank you for reading up to this point, also, yes, I will finish this, I'm about 65% done. I'm currently drawing the hard parts, so it might be a while before another update. Have a good one.
